88-91 Honda CRX Climate Control CB7 Accord Conversion Prebuilt Type 1 Complete Swap
Thanks for shopping! This climate control unit is created for the 88-91 Honda CRX by converting the electronic controlled unit from a Honda Accord CB7 Chassis. This is a complete replacement unit that drastically improves reliability and ergonomics in comparison to the existing Honda CRX unit. Unfortunately we all know the poor construction of the OEM CRX unit due to poor plastic materials and design. The CB7 Accord unit is a much more robust and economical design that is readily available. Using some existing components from your CRX (listed below), this swap is 100% plug and play and no modification is required.

- 1X 88-91 Honda CRX Heater Control Temperature Mixer Mechanism (cable actuation assembly bolted to back of existing climate control unit)
- 2X Heater control cables and associated coolant valves
- 1X CRX Heater Mixer Control Knob
- 1X Loctite or equivalent (for installation)

All Honda Accord CB7 Climate Control Units are self sourced second hand items and may contain defects. If you are unsure about the condition of the unit listed, please email, and we will provide more pictures. All units are resistance tested in order to ensure switches and back light bulbs are operational. Green backlight bulbs on the switch (which are activated when an air flow direction switch is pressed down) have the possibility of failure and cannot be tested or repaired prior to shipment. Button switches may contain defects such as scratches, peeling, and discoloration due to age. Please inspect the listing images before purchase. All units listed are price adjusted based on the cosmetic condition of the unit. It is recommended to replace back lighting bulbs since they are used items.

Defects covered by warranty include the following: Button depression detent failure, Fan speed control failure, and Piggy Back Conversion Harness Failure. Cosmetic defects are not covered.

9.5/10 Amazing condition unit. A/C Button Deleted. No button scratches, low circuit board resistance. Knob marking is still white, which usually is yellow from age. This was our personal climate control unit that never made it into the CRX. This unit has NO AIRCONDITION BUTTON. It is suited for cars that have either AC deleted or didn't come from factory with AC.
